Welcome to FileMayor. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the FileMayor application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By downloading, installing, or using FileMayor, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
FileMayor is a file organization engine available as a CLI tool, Desktop application, and Progressive Web App. The Service enables users to scan, organize, clean, and analyze their local filesystem.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use FileMayor for personal or commercial use. You may not:
FileMayor offers free and paid tiers. Paid subscriptions (Pro and Enterprise) are processed through our authorized payment partner, Lemon Squeezy. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
⚠️ File operations are potentially destructive. You are solely responsible for backing up your data before using any organizational, cleaning, or deletion features.
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FileMayor and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months or $50 USD.
All content, code, branding, and materials associated with FileMayor are the intellectual property of Lehlohonolo Goodwill Nchefu (Chevza) and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
